Klara Placek, MA, LMFT
Klara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a B.A. in Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, where she is currently completing her PsyD in Marriage and Family Therapy. Klara has five years of experience providing therapy to couples and adults to help them improve their relationships, process emotions and foster discovery and healing. She is passionate about helping couples interact in more positive ways using Emotionally Focused Therapy and she creates safe, nurturing environments for all of her clients. She has a special interest in working with premarital couples as they establish a solid foundation from which they build healthy relationship patterns. She also works with individuals wanting support with relationships, life transitions, loss, and work/life balance. Klara loves to teach and has run multiple mental health groups at MHS North Inland Mental Health Center and is experienced instructing Masters level students at Alliant International University. In her free time her hobbies include paddle boarding, camping, meditation, writing and illustrating children's books. She appreciates spending quality time with family, especially her fiancé Mark and her niece and nephew.
