I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with couples and individuals who care deeply about their relationships. Many of the people I work with are professionals or those in demanding careers. From the outside, their life is successful. Yet, their romantic relationships may feel messy and complicated.
I specialize in working with married couples, as well as individuals, who are caught in entrenched patterns of conflict or emotional distance. I also help premarital and dating couples, in loving relationships, set a strong foundation, so their love can thrive.
You may find yourselves having the same argument over and over. You may feel shut down, reactive, lonely, or unsure how you got here. I help my clients look at the patterns that take over, and shift them, so communication feels clearer, trust builds, and emotional and physical intimacy is vibrant.
I have experience supporting couples and individuals navigating challenges related to sex, desire, betrayal, and the strain that high pressure careers can place on a relationship. My approach is steady and grounded.
In individual therapy, I support adults who are managing stress, parenting demands, relationship uncertainty, or major life transitions. Many are high functioning and used to holding it together, yet feel stretched thin inside. Therapy can be a place to breathe, sort through what is weighing on you, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel calm, clear, and confident.
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and steady. My intention is that you leave sessions feeling understood, less alone, and more hopeful about what is possible. If you are looking for a therapist who respects your drive and ambition while also caring deeply about the quality of your closest relationships, you will likely feel at home in this work.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy long walks in nature, time with my fiancé and loved ones, and exploring coffee shops throughout San Diego County.
