Hiring Couples Therapist
Integrative Couples Therapy, based in Encinitas, California, is seeking an Associate or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about relationships and is eager to immerse in a couples focused practice. This is the perfect position for a therapist that wants to develop a specialty in couples therapy, receive training in couples therapy, and receive mentorship on marketing, networking, and outreach. This is a part time W2 office-based position in Encinitas, California.

Minimum Requirements:
Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related program of study.
Current Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Registration as a Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. We are only considering applicants with an active licenses/registrations in good standing.
Experience conducting couples therapy.
Able to work at our Encinitas office when couples are available, generally afternoons and evenings.
Able to stay up to date on all clinical documentation so that it is completed within 24 hours of appointments utilizing our AI note-taking for assistance.
Provide the highest level of professionalism and care with your clients.
Respond to clients and internal communications promptly, and by the end of each work day.
Attend supervision meetings as assigned.
Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines of the Marriage and Family Therapy profession, the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Manage and maintain confidential client information and adhere to HIPAA policies.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience and/or training in couples therapy, sex therapy, coparenting, seperation/divorce, perinatal mental health, parenting support, family therapy, trauma, groups, and workshops.
Completion of the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Externship.
This position is a good fit for you if:

If you are an associate therapist, you have less than 1500 hours completed toward licensure.
You are able to work at our Encinitas office at least two days per week, including afternoons or evenings, and can add days and hours as your caseload builds.

You adhere to the marketing and advertising guidelines set forth Integrative Couples Therapy and the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Will discuss further during interview.
You are seeking a part time private practice position.
You do not own a coaching practice or private practice and do not have plans to start one for at least two years. You do not intend to work at another private practice within the next two years.
